This December Crown Point will be making a difference for those less fortunate in our community.

We will be encouraging shoppers to buy an extra gift and donate it at the drop-off points located around Crown Point. The campaign is supported by the Yorkshire Evening Post and Radio Aire, they will be running features and stories encouraging the general public to contribute.

Each Crown Point store will have a designated dump-bin for donations, however, as this is a Leeds wide campaign gifts can also be left at the Radio Aire studios on Kirkstall Road and the Yorkshire Evening Post Building on Wellington Street.

Radio Aire and Magic 828 have run the campaign for the past two years, in 2006 over 12,000 toys were donated. The strength of the campaign is testament to the hard work of those who believe in giving disadvantaged children a little bit of festive cheer.
